Elizabeth von Trapp

Magic happens whenever Elisabeth von Trapp walks into a room and begins to sing. Granddaughter of Maria and Baron von Trapp, Elisabeth brings her magic to our stage as she sings and strums the songs of The Sound on Music as part of a repertoire ranging from Bach to Broadway...Shubert to Sting...Rodgers & Hammerstein to Mozart and Puccini.

Raised in Vermont, she has carried on the legacy of the internationally renowned Trapp Family Singers, She began piano lessons when she was eight and by the age of sixteen she was playing guitar and traveling the back roads of New England performing with her siblings at weddings, gospel meetings and town halls. Now, Elizabeth's "tools" are much deeper than possessing one of the most familiar musical family names of the 20th Century. Yes, she sings those songs, but blessed with a beautiful voice and having honed the skills of guitar and piano, her talents are her own and undeniably fabulous. Elisabeth's concerts are all wrapped up in a night the audience will not soon forget. Her stories and reflections between songs are also part of the "Elisabeth von Trapp experience."
